Greg Price is a professor of economics and finance at the University of New Orleans, with a joint appointment as senior research fellow in the Urban Entrepreneurship and Policy Institute. Before coming to UNO, Price served as professor of economics at Morehouse College and North Carolina A & T. He holds a PhD from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Over his impressive career, Price has published numerous peer-reviewed articles on the topics of Black entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship and incarceration, as well as historically black colleges and universities. He has received grants from the National Science Foundation, the University of Kentucky Poverty Center, and the Charles Koch Foundation. His work on these topics has appeared in numerous prestigious journals, including the American Economist, The African Development Review, The Journal of Socio-Economics, and The Review of Black Political Economy.
